# UAD-ng: Android Package Management & Downloads

UAD-ng is a Windows, macOS and Linux interface for reviewing Android packages through ADB. It runs on the computer, not as a TV APK. General package descriptions do not certify a TV model or replace a firmware-specific review.

## Frequently asked questions

Does this change the Home screen or manage packages?+

UAD-ng manages packages from a computer. It does not replace the TV launcher.

Will downloading a file change my TV?+

No. Downloads on this site only retrieve files or open the source provider. Installation and changes happen later on your own devices, after the connection and authorization steps.

What should I check first?+

Check the exact model and system, review the change list, and keep the backup for that device. Downloading a file does not connect to or modify your TV.
